名刺のイラスト Name cards

SPX (Small Press Expo) に参加するため、来週はストックホルムに行きます。
アメリカからは Stan Sakai そして日本からは Nou Nou Hau が今年のゲストとして、やって来る予定ですよ。
来るべきイベントのため、新しい名刺を作りました。
片側には私のインフォメーションを、反対側には５種類のイラストをランダムに印刷してみました。
なかなか良くできたと思うけど、どうでしょう？

Interesting guests this year is Stan Sakai from U.S.A. and Nou Nou Hau from Japan.

バレンタインカード Valentine Card 2008

スウェーデンは、暗く灰色で、とっても風が強い日が続いています。
でも、すぐに春がやってきます・・・よね・・・
それに、バレンタインデーも、もうすぐ。
そこで、バレンタインカードを作りました。
（注文することもできまますよ。）
この男の子が着ているのは服は、サーミ人（北欧の最北端ラップランドに住む民族）の衣装からインスパイアされたものです。
でも日本では、バレンタインデーに女の子が男の子にプレゼントをあげるんでしたっけ？
It has been dark gray and very, VERY windy here in Sweden.
But soon spring will come again.....I hope.
And then there is Valentine's Day coming up soon also.

The costume the boy is wearing is inspired from Sami folk costume.
But it was girls who give presents to boys on Valentine's Day in Japan!?

オリジナルグッズ Original Goods

風邪もすっかり良くなりました。
月曜から学校に行く予定です。
前回、Jimmy と私の漫画は新聞のコミックコンテストで優勝しなかったと書きましたが、その後どうなったと思います？
なんと、コンテストが終わってすぐに、あるコミックエージェントから電話があり、私たちのコミックが気に入ったと言うのです。
おまけに、もし興味があるなら、私たちと契約したいとのこと！
今は、次はどういう展開になるか、待っているところです。
それから、ブログ友達の chobebiさんから、オリジナルグッズのインスピレーションを得ました。
それで、ネットで購入できる日本のサイトを通じて、クリスマスカード（北欧やスウェーデンのテイストをモチーフにした絵柄）を作り始めましたよ。

I'm almost healthy again.
So I'll be back in school on Monday.
I told you about that Jimmy and I didn't win the comic competition, but do you know what happened?
Soon after the competition was over a comic agent called us and said that they had seen our comic and liked it.
The next thing is that they asked if we where interested in writing a contract with them!
So now we are waiting to see what happens next.
I also got a bit inspiration from a blog friend, chobebi-san, who does original goods.
So now I've started to do some Christmas cards (with a touch of Sweden/Scandinavia) that can be bought through the net in Japan.

復活祭のうさぎ Easter Bunny

復活祭ですね。
今週は学校も休みです。
スウェーデンでは、春はそこまで来ているのに、冬もなかなかシブトイといった感じ。
ドイツの親族に送るため、イースターカードを描きました。
イースターバニーが、キャンディと卵を隠す場所を探しているところ。
おっと、またもやウサギが私のブログに登場です！
前回は「ミルクうさぎ」で、今回はイースターバニー。
イースターバニーの風習はドイツから来たんですよ。
背景は分かりませんが、ウサギが色を塗った卵やチョコレートなどのお菓子を隠して周るなんて、とってもヘンですね。
というわけで、このブログに、ヘンなうさぎが現れるのは２度目です！

I'm free from school.
The spring is trying to get a grip on Sweden, but the winter hasn't given up yet.
I did an Easter card for my relatives in Germany.
The Easter bunny is looking for where it will hide its eggs and candy.
Again it's rabbits in my blog!
Last time it was the “mjölkhare” and now the Easter Bunny.
The tradition with the Easter Bunny is from Germany.
I don't know the backgrounds of it, but it's very strange that a bunny goes around hiding painted eggs and chocolate (and other sweets).
So for the second time I have a strange rabbit in my blog!
